This unit has been tested and is working properly as shown in the photos. I used the “Brave a little Toaster”DVD and Jurassic Park VHS I had on hand to demonstrate that both sides of the unit function properly. The Brace little toaster and Jurassic Park films are not included in the order. This unit also includes the remote and an HDMI cable. The unit can be switched from DVD player to VCR using the remote.
