Used Roku 2 XS model 3100x. Device is fully tested and working with remote. Remote had the batteries left inside and had a battery leak that ate some of the black paint on the inside of the remote where the battery sits. Cleaned the battery leak using white vinegar and tested after cleaning and no issues with remote control. Photos of remote control were taken after the cleaning and testing.
