The DV-50A is a Pioneer Elite reference-grade disc player that plays DVD-Video, Super Audio CD (SACD) and CD from a single transport. As part of the Elite line it was positioned as a high-end audio/video source rather than a budget DVD deck, pairing DVD-Video playback with SACD high-resolution audio support and PureCinema progressive-scan video.
