I bought this at an auction and when I tried the vcr part, it ate my usual suspects tape and spit it out. I managed to get it out without much trouble so then I tried again but it ate it and spit it out again. The DVD tray doesn't react to the open/close button at all. I popped the top off to see if it was an obvious problem but it looks super clean and undamaged just like the interior. I am not a wizard so I am not able to diagnose or fix but my loss could be your gain. This was a pretty nice unit in 2004. NOT WORKING/PARTS
