TV powers on but unfortunately that's about as far as I could test it without a remote. The remote is needed to access the front A/V port input. Not an issue if you have an coax to RCA adapter which I don't have either. Casing has some flaws, like scratches and someone etched their name. Overall the TV is in excellent shape cosmetically.
